Inc. will be presenting new visualization solutions
at the Securities Industry Association Technology
Management Conference June 20 to 22. This is
the premier information management event for
the financial securities industry.

This year at SIA Oculus will demonstrate a
variety of visualizations. Examples of Oculus
visualization systems, for monitoring and analyzing
large amounts of financial data, will be demonstrated,
including risk management visualization systems;
real-time market data visualizations and Oculus
GeoTime software for analysis of financial security
data.
The Oculus HotSpot Matrix will be shown at
SIA. HotSpot is a visualization that makes advanced
portfolio management visualization easy to add-on
to internal portfolio tools; as well as simplifying
advanced risk concepts for wealth management
and private client applications. HotSpot is in
use today at a top tier fund company: the new
Oculus visuals displaced an earlier, slower solution.
HotSpot sped up information delivery time by
a factor of six and adds 3D and interactive analysis
to the previous data graphics; thereby increasing
client satisfaction and leading to an increase
in funds under management.
Oculus Pivot Visualizer will debut at SIA.
Oculus Pivot Visualizer is the next generation
of our Excel Visualizer introduced at last year’s
SIA. This add-in to Microsoft Excel 2003 or Microsoft
Analysis Services enables rapid exploration of
rich multi-dimensional, multi-metric data by
leveraging the familiar Excel interface together
with data visualization techniques. "Excel
Pivot Tables are a powerful means for organizing
and slicing data. We’ve created Pivot Visualizer
based on real-world feedback and we’ve seen analysis
tasks gain four times performance improvement,” says
Mike Peters, Partner at Oculus.
