Open positions for Software Developer and Information Designer

Oculus is a small, dynamic group specializing in custom software design and development (often research) for high-profile clients. We are world-leaders in design and development of high-end decision-support applications utilizing 2D and 3D visualization technology and advanced user interface concepts.

The applicant should bring creativity and vision to projects and be able to execute independently or as part of a small team. The ability to learn rapidly and a willingness to explore are essential. This is a unique opportunity with huge upside for developing skills and contacts available almost nowhere else.

We are looking for a range of abilities. Excellence in any combination of those listed below is welcome.

• Java, C++, VB, MFC, MSDev Tools
• Experience building complex graphical user interface applications
• An interest in HCI concepts and development
• Experience with 2D and/or 3D graphics - Interactive displays a plus!
• Back end communications: COM, JDBC, ADO, TCP/IP, Java Beans, and others
• Experience in design, and presentation (information design/industrial design/architecture etc)
• High-level of skill a must: Masters Computer Science, five years hard time, or equivalent experience
