Real-Time Visualization
Intuitive visualization techniques built on high performance technology deliver actionable information from data stream to decision maker instantly. Oculus has designed and developed innovative, interactive real-time visualization systems for many clients over the last 20 years. Our clientele includes some of the world’s largest stock exchanges and capital markets firms, as well as government organizations involved in global security.

NASDAQ’s Point of Presence
Broadcast of 4,000 stocks in real-time. Journalists make 150 broadcasts from Nasdaq MarketSite every day against a live backdrop of data graphics. That’s an estimated $70 M of broadcast air time every year. To tell the market’s story this visualization system displays activity on demand for 4000 stocks onto a 6×20 video wall and eight storey tower on Times Square in New York. The NASDAQ site on Times Square is a visual beacon for critical information, a strong brand identity, and engages clients in market events through the use of advanced video and CGI on massive wall, tower, and interior screens.

Visible Markets
Giving visual form to the market enables a trader to see developments more quickly, gaining competitive advantage. In this design for a leading ECN, Oculus real-time visualization forms an intuitive, integrated view of supply and demand (buy and sell orders), transaction history (trades), and analytics (e.g. volume distributions and VWAP). This innovative visualization design earns praise in David Leinwebber’s book Nerds on Wall Street.
